Bassline Surfers consist of the three DJs and producers Metasound, Lucius 14 and audite. And what did you expect, they teamed up by their mutual love for music.

Metasound had already thrown many Drum&Bass parties in several cities and travelled throughout Germany as a DJ. In 2005 he started to host the monthly show "Radio 3tes Ohr" on Radio Blau in Leipzig. Now the show is also broadcasted on www.dnbradio.net each Saturday and is being hosted alternately by each member of the Bassline Surfers. He has also represented the German Drum&Bass label Phunkfiction since 2005.
Lucius 14 is the director of the multimedia-agency "Das Modular" in Frankfurt on the Main and is in charge of the audio-section. He's got a manifold musical background. Lucius 14 started his musical career as the frontman of the crossover-band Dreadmaxx. Today he is focusing on producing. Brokenbeatz, NuJazz, House, Funk, Hip Hop, Drum&Bass- he feels comfortable with all of them.
audite moved from Mainz to Leipzig in 2005. After a short while he started to organise Drum&Bass parties in the Staubsauger. Now the Bassline Surfers have a monthly night there with guests from all over Germany.

For some time the three music-lovers have been working together in the music studio and are producing Drum&Bass tunes. Altough they were all influenced by different kinds of music, they also have quite a lot of similarities. That's why one can really be curious what is going to be produced. Samples can be heard on myspace, on the radio or in the club.
